Like insurance, you only see it in action if something goes wrong. In my case nothing went wrong, but the piece of mind is nice. The amount seems appropriate given the price of the items. All in all, I would use it again - although interestingly, I did not see the option to get it the last time I ordered (bought 3 pieces at sale price).
